Oliver Spencer founded his eponymous label in 2002 wanting a collection that mirrored his own wardrobe combining popular street wear with traditional tailoring. The brand uses the highest quality fabrics in a modern fit adding traditional construction methods with characteristic details and artisanal craftsmanship. The end result is an interesting, wearable collection expertly put together. Oliver’s passion is evident in every piece and he remains heavily involved in most areas of design, sourcing the fabrics and construction.

Oliver Spencer draws inspiration from hunting and the military adapting parts of Americana and Japanese fashion into his own take on English aesthetic. Oliver Spencer has grown as a brand in its nine years and has been taken on by the biggest retailers and is available worldwide. Oli took a standalone New York shop for Oliver Spencer in 2006, in partnership with top U.S. retailer Odin. In 2008, he opened the doors of a second shop, in London, and introduced his womenswear collection. In 2010 a third shop was opened in Toronto and the latest venture has been into shoes. A standalone shoe shop was opened on Lambs Conduit Street in London in spring 2011. A second shop in Soho London is planned for late this year
Today more than half the collection is still made in the UK. For the new AW12 collection Oliver Spencer takes inspiration from 1970’s art house and the styling of a young Lucian Freud combining a stylish use of colour, texture and quality craftsmanship with bold suiting, heavy knits and outerwear in fluid, clean lines.
Oliver Spencer clothes are worn by music icons, from The Rolling Stones to Paul Weller and The Doves, and by movie stars from Toby Jones, Martin Freeman to Benicio Del Toro.
