Norse Projects formed in 2004 and have rapidly become a respected and trusted brand with their stylish, durable and ultimately desirable range of clothing. Although initially making only graphic tops and t-shirts the brand expanded their range to include sleek shirts and waterproof outerwear for which they are now renowned for producing.
They take their name from a shop owned by the brands founders situated in the heart of Copenhagen. Indeed the Norse Store in Copenhagen is still the home of all things Norse Projects. Priding themselves on making a functional wardrobe teeming with contemporary style and quality, they have a passion for both the classic and the ultra-modern blending traditional workwear and outdoor pieces with modern details. With the exception of the hats(which are produced in one of the USA's oldest hat factories) the entire range is made in Europe, the quality evident down to every stitch.

Recently Norse Projects collaborated with a few designers to present 'Love you Japan', a limited collection with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross to help those affected by the recent tsunami tradegy in Japan. They worked together with: Husk Mit Navn (a Copenhagen based illustrator and painter, recognised for his cheeky political slogans and character style), Yukari Hotta who is a Japanese industrial designer and illustrator living in Copenhagen. Yukari creates clever and functional furniture pieces with a crisp aesthetic. Misaki Kawai who is a Japanese painter and sculptor with a growing stature for her bright and colourful work full of adolescent playfulness.
Looking at their local heritage and surroundings along with the Scandinavian climate, the brand draws on all of this taking inspiration from their Nordic traditions to produce a clothing range which is basic and practical but with twists and details that are purely Scandinavian and unmistakably Norse Projects.
